Matrutva & Maitri: Celebrating Motherhood & Friendship

Every week a few friends of the Vadodara ecosystem come together to cultivate stillness, community, and service. What started as a one-time call in the first week of lockdown has become a weekly offering of love by Jaimit and Krunal. It is an evolving online circle to engage, share, spread joy, and rise through collective consciousness. The anchors have been beautifully holding the space exploring a different theme every week, pouring their love in writing the invitation, and creating heArt offe... read full story

  Love Pill

A few months ago, I started working at a government home with children between the ages of 0-7 years. These children are here because they were abandoned just after birth or later due to multiple reasons. I was always interested in working with this age group because, as per psychology, there are significant milestones in this phase that affect a person’s later stages. Of course, I was worried when I first stepped in as I had never worked with this age group, but as I started knowing them ... read full story

  Three Questions For Guru Nanak

We were at Golden Temple listening to kirtan (verses of Guru Granth Saheb being sung with deep devotion). Some people around us were sleeping, we noticed that one person had kept his feet towards the temple but as soon as he noticed that, he changed the direction of his legs. Mostly out of respect, people do not keep their feet stretched out towards temple while they are sitting. That same evening, we met one wise friend, a policeman, who shared many stories of Guru Nanak – including re... read full story

Yesterday, a gang of 10 Surat volunteers to joined our local Prayer Circle in Baroda! What an incredible evening. There was so much love in the air. Honestly, it was like family coming together. And the beginning of a lot more emergence. On March 25th, a whole bunch of us from Baroda are planning to crash the Surat Karma Kitchen! ... read full story

Aligning with Nature - MBL Laddership Circle

There is no better teacher than Nature.  We just wrapped up our second round of Mbl Laddership circle where 13 of us came together for creating a space of deep inquiry, holding space for each other and aligning ourselves to Emergence without any preconceived idea or achievement in mind. The space of deep inquiry is the space of not knowing, which is a space of creativity and innovations. The process was many-to-many learning, and people did connect deeply to support each other in vis... read full story

  Learning the Art of Surrender

[At the Laddership retreat held in November 2016, Sachi shares from a deep space about one key shift that she experienced in the past year. In her journey with Ashiyana and Shunya, she reflects about deepening her values and learning to let go and surrender to the higher design.] I don’t know what am I going to say and I have been trying to put this presentation together to make sense of what am I going to say in the next 15 odd minutes. One key shift that I felt in the last year was to... read full story

An Incredible Journey From Being A Victim To A Healer

It takes more courage to examine the dark corners of your own soul than it does for a solider to fight on a battlefield- W.B.Yeats This year I witnessed an incredible journey of six Bangladeshi girls' transformation, from being victims of human trafficking to therapeutic dance movement practitioners. The home where they stay is surrounded by high walls, heavy gates and security guards. I enter the premise after my official check and as I walk in I see coconut trees swaying and stretching ta... read full story

  sharing my love

Few months back I started working with rescued women who were victims of trafficking. These females are caught by police and they are put in government homes. My first visit inside these homes numbed me. I realized how different it was to just listen and hear about something and encounter it in real. When I entered that place I saw females of my age. Few of them were wives and mothers. Some were sold by their families, some opted due to poverty, some were miss guided and the reasons of they b... read full story

My Experience With Few Minutes of Silence

After the wonderful retreat in December some magic had to happen and I had the fortune of attending the retreat as a participant in the month of November and in the very next month I had the opportunity to serve. During the retreat there were number of experiences that made me smile, cry, reflect, introspect and at the end move something within which I would love to share in this space. My experience with silence: As a student in school one instruction that I always use to hear from my te... read full story

  A Special Birthday Gift

I feel blessed and I have countless reasons to say so :-). Few days back I met a bunch of souls who not only talk of kindness, service, prayer or gratitude, but I saw them breathing, feeling and living all those words that they spoke, creating those ripples which moved me and my loved ones to do something special for our super special sister Jigi who has a heart like a child and interestingly shares her birthday on children’s day :-) 14th November. She was away for an event in Mumbai ... read full story
